Jere Hietala and Lasse Järvi met through skating. Thanks to their mutual hobby, Jere picked up a still camera, and Lasse picked up a passion for filmmaking. While Jere started a successful photography career in Helsinki, Lasse moved to Colorado to study film. Now Jere has won major awards in Finland, working for a long list of clients including SonyBMG, Universal Music, BNL Euro RSCG, and Red Bull. He has been working directly with music labels and many leading magazines in Finland.

Since graduating from The Colorado College with an English Film Track degree, Lasse has made a career editing and directing projects ranging from music videos to feature films in Los Angeles. Most recently he edited award-winning director Doug Pray's latest feature documentary, entitled INFAMY. Jere sees details, while Lasse looks at the big picture. Jere talks a lot, Lasse doesn't. They compliment each other extremely well. For instance, Jere once told Lasse, "You‚re one crazy creative son of a b#*@h!!‰." Lasse answered, "Thanks, I like your style." That's the teamwork of J&L.
