COMPANY OVERVIEW

1171 Production Group, Inc. is a full service production company hailing from Hollywood, California. The company began in 1989 as a music video production house and has since blossomed into a creative boutique specializing in highly customized projects. 1171's range of projects has included music videos, commercials, and promotional materials, and has now expanded into the independent feature film and documentary markets. This full service production group has shot both domestically as well as internationally, and can provide full-on worldwide services to date.  

Grant Cihlar founded 1171 Production Group in 1989 after having broken into the music scene as a guitarist for Tim Scott on Geffen Records. Grant then went on to manage a number of bands, including extensive travel across Europe, South America, Asia, and throughout the United States.    Through traveling and producing music videos and other related music content he met his partner now in 1171 as well as his significant other Nancy Cihlar.  

Nancy joined him in the year 2001, bringing her design background, keen eye for detail, and unparalleled respect for and dedication to the integrity of finished products. 1171 prides themselves on cutting edge content in film, television, and music video and commercial. Their exceptional combination of creativity and experience - with Grant having a background in music and Nancy in design - provides the company and clients with a unique and clients with a unique and exceptional experience.
