Born in Chicago Illinois in April of 1977, Paul “Coy” Allen has achieved significant accomplishments in film, and television industry. Growing up as an avid movie fan, he accredits his passion for film and entertainment to directors such as David Fincher, Luc Besson, and Wes Anderson, all of whom are what inspired Allen to pursue the entertainment field.

After majoring in “Film and Electronic Arts” at Cal State Long Beach, Allen began is career in 1998 at the age of 20 for Tollin/ Robbins Productions. He held many job titles, as Production Manger and Line Producer for many of today’s top television networks such as NBC, Comedy Central, HBO, Nickelodeon, and MTV. Allen quickly advanced to holding creative producer titles for many hit shows on these networks. This work experience has made him extremely well rounded in the industry of entertainment.

Allen’s latest project was a collaboration with well known producer Timbaland, who introduced him to Jimmy Iovine as being the director / producer for all his future television/ music and video projects. In January 2007, Allen directed a 19 minuet video montage for the Grammy winning producer’s stage performance during Justin Timberlake’s current “Future, Love, Sex Sound” tour. The production/performance has been acknowledged and summarized in various press and media columns including the March 2007 issue of GQ magazine.

In February 2007, TRL featured the long awaited “Give It To Me” music video directed by both Allen and Timberland. The video succeeded in giving Allen both national and international recognition as highly creative director, and the single soared to #1 on the Billboard Charts.

Currently Allen lives in Los Angeles California, and is playing the Executive Producer roll on a television pilot he created with collaboration with his partner for the VH1 network. He is directing new music videos, finishing 3 full length screenplays, and directing a few new short films.
